At Kemmerer Jr.-Sr. High School, we are fully invested in the success of every student. We are dedicated to providing a quality education in a positive, safe environment. Whether engaging in stimulating discussions, hands-on projects, small-group mentoring, or other interesting activities and academic opportunities, our students, teachers, and aides give 100% every day.
Dear Parents and Students,
“It is a Great Day to be a Ranger!” At Kemmerer Junior Senior High School we strive to be the best both in and out of school. We have a great staff and community, pulling together to do what is best for our students. Our goal is to have every student who leaves KJSHS either College, Career, or Military ready as they enter the next phase of their lives.
We offer a wide variety of athletics and activities, and we encourage our students to participate in as many things as they can. These activities help students learn lifelong skills that will help them be well-rounded.
Our Core Values at KJSHS are:
Respect Growth
Accountability Responsibility
No Excuses Integrity
Gratitude Tenacity
Excellence
Relationships
We push our students to excel at high levels and to become the best people they can be. “It takes a village to raise a child,” having open lines of communication are a must. We look forward to working with you, contact us any time.
Go Rangers,
Shawn Rogers
KJSHS Principal
Here at Kemmerer, we understand that communication is a key component to a successful partnership with our learning community. We welcome visitors to our campus and invite you to call or email us with your questions and concerns.
We can send mass emails through both the Infinite Campus Portal and through personal email. We can send an email regarding a school closure, early release, or an emergency situation. We would appreciate it if you would be sure we have your most up-to-date personal email information.
Great teachers help create great students. In Lincoln, we believe it is critical to train and support both new and experienced educators, so we support the professional development of our staff. Participation in these regular training meetings is the most important school-related factor influencing student achievement.
